When did you start losing weight?
When I was a freshman in high school, weighing in at 285 pounds, I was at my heaviest. As a junior, I lost about 50 pounds and went from 240 to 240.
My entire high school career was tormented by being overweight, which didn’t help.

I feel so grateful that I weigh 80 pounds less tonight than I did when I began.

I would say that the most effective workout routine for me was one that I created myself. It consisted of alternating between intense weightlifting and bodyweight exercises.
The key is to get your heart rate up, push yourself, then recover with a less-intense exercise.
